Braving the Cold, on Canal Street

Chinatown, NYC
Photo by myself on Canal Street.

It was really, really, really cold, Tuesday.

Despite icy winds, vendors were setting up their stalls in the morning. The woman above wore a makeshift muff made from a FedEx envelope.

Good for her. It still looks very sunny. Thanks for showing Kitty.

You have to give them credit for opening in that cold. Not sure if I would and who would be shopping?

Hi Kitty, I have stumbled across your A-mazing blogspot and have just spent an 'unintended' hour hopping all around. I like your style of writing, your photos are amazing and the information gleaned from your posts is sensational for anyone with a true love and interest in NYC. I can see things around my place are going to go by the wayside while I catch up with everything on your blog. Please keep going - you are appreciated.

At least they're wearing actual winter attire. I get so tired of all the little hipsters shivering in their thin, ineffectual jackets.
